Practice:

  • Working with tools and flower preparation.

Day 2

Topic: Basics of Floristry

Theory:

  • Flower growth forms and their use in arrangements.
  • History of floristry: the origins of floral art.
  • Rules for receiving flower shipments: sorting and storage.
  • Techniques: parallel binding and layered bouquets.

Practice:

  • Assembling the first spiral bouquet.

Day 3

Topic: Hierarchy and Flower Textures

Theory:

  • Flower hierarchy: how to properly emphasize accents.
  • Working with texture: using various flower types.
  • Types of compositions: open, closed, and sprawling bouquets.

Practice:

  • Creating a bouquet with an emphasis on hierarchy.

Day 4

Topic: Composition and Harmony

  • Theory:
    • Principles of proportion and harmony in bouquets.
    • Rhythm in arrangements: creating dynamics.
    • The theory of light and color in bouquets.
  • Practice:
    • Crafting a perfectly round bouquet with packaging.

Day 5

Topic: Color Theory

  • Theory:
    • Basics of the color wheel: color combinations and harmony.
  • Practice:
    • Creating a sprawling bouquet with greenery.

Day 6

Topic: Frames and Structural Bases

  • Theory:
    • Designing and using frames for complex bouquets.
  • Practice:
    • Assembling a bouquet on a frame.

Day 7-8

Topic: Practice and Exhibitions

  • Theory:
    • Receiving flowers: professional preparation for work.
    • Participating in exhibitions and designing compositions.
  • Practice:
    • Working on large compositions and decorating the studio.

    • Assembling a bridal bouquet.

Day 11

Topic: Wreaths

  • Theory:
    • Basics of wreath-making: styles and compositions.
  • Practice:
    • Creating classic and decorative wreaths.

Day 12-13

Topic: Seasonal Compositions

  • Theory:
    • Spring and summer arrangements: style and palette.
    • Fall and winter arrangements: designs for Halloween and Christmas.
    • Funeral floristry.
  • Practice:
    • Crafting seasonal bouquets and arrangements.

Day 14-15

Topic: Commercial and Event Floristry

  • Theory:
    • Basics of commercial floristry: opening a shop, working with clients.
    • Event floristry: decorating for events.
  • Practice:
    • Preparing an exam project: material selection and assembly.
